What has been your favorite thing about guitar 2 so far? Give me at least a full paragraph about what you have enjoyed so far and why. Is there anything you would change about this class?
I'll tell you mine. I have been blown away with not only the natural talent of my students, but your willingness to listen and to grow and improve, from beginner level to advanced. Sometimes, students can turn into "know it alls" pretty quick once they know a few things, but you have kept a positive and productive attitude which makes me very proud. The only thing I would change is I wish I had you all for Guitar 1 so that we were all on the same page, but we are still making progress together which is all that matters!
My favourite part of guitar 2 is learning new songs. Learning new music makes me excited to go to the class, and to work on other songs for myself. Learning songs makes this class extremely enjoyable because there is always something to look forward to in the next class. Learning new music, basically makes everyone in the class better at guitar, and that is why it is my favourite thing about guitar 2.
ReplyDeleteI love that you give us a lot of time to practice (no rush :D) and the songs are not from the book. You always find the easier tap for people who is not advance :). You also teach us about all the basic things in music such as notes which we could use in every music instruments not only guitar. So far I have a lot of fun in this class and this is one of my favorite class.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about guitar 2 is that we are able to learn new songs together and jam no matter the skill level of the people in the class. And how we respect each other even though some people know more than others or are more experienced. Also, how when we work on the song together everybody place the part that fits them the best which is makes us sound better all together than when everyone is playing the same thing and not working together. Especially when we played Island in the sun. You have the people who have trouble playing the chorus or verse so they play the base line. While those who can play them and the solo. There really isn't anything i want to change about the class it going great the way it is.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of guitar two is getting the chance to learn new songs in any pace (for example the advance people usually plays the chords and the beginners usually play the bass line of the song). Learning new music makes me excited because how I get to add to my knowledge of songs, the new songs that we learn and I can apply it later. Getting the chance to learn new songs isn’t one thing that everyone gets help with which is another favorite part of guitar class. Learning new music basically makes everyone in the class gradually improve at guitar which is a good thing. One thing that I would change about guitar class would separating the class into two groups and put one group with the advanced people and the other group with the beginner people and teach both of them at a different pace.

My favorite part of Guitar 2 is that we learn new songs almost everyday and we don't have to feel pressured to do really well even if we don't know how to play it. I also like how in the beginning of the class everyone plays together. I enjoy playing together with everyone because no one feels left out and can make progress in there own speed. Overall the Guitar 2 class has been an excellent experience.

My favorite part about Guitar 2 so far is that everybody is allowed to learn at their own pace and you do not have any pressure on you to play as well as those who have been playing for a longer time. I like how everybody respects one another's true guitar ability and when you need help, all you have to do is ask a fellow classmate. I like how there are several variations of each exercise and song, suitable for all learning levels and speeds. The class has been a blast so far, and I think that all the students, including myself, need to take a step back and really examine how much we have learned as a class. The time has flown by so far and I hope to learn a lot more.

My favorite part in guitar 2 is that everyone can learn and work together even people is all in different levels just like i am not advance and just learned guitar in guitar 1 last year but when you give us a new songs i still can play with them because you give bass line so i can do it and another play chords. It's really great and still sounds really good together. And we can lean own favorite songs and don't need to follow the book or anything like that. One thing i would change in guitar 2 is that we have more time to practice by ourselves or as a group like we did last year in guitar 1 that we often have time to practice in those small rooms. But guitar 2 is really great so far and i learned a lots information and stuff. I love guitar 2.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about guitar 2 so far was how well paced the class is. I enjoy learning songs I hear on the radio. Also I enjoy how friendly everyone in the class is. I like how we get the opportunity to use guitars every day for practice. I would not change a thing about the class.

DeleteMy favorite thing about guitar 2 so far is just how much we are learning and how much we are having fun. I also enjoy the variety of music you bring to us every class it reminds a lot about last year. I believe this class will be better than last year because we are no solely working on guitar wears also using other instruments. I would change nothing about the class and will always remember R.T.C.O( respect the cut-off) sincerely Romelo
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about guitar 2 is that we are learning so many song. I love it, we learn the songs and have fun doing so. So far the class is better than last year because of the variety of music we are learning. Last year we did most of the thing out of the book. I wouldn't change anything about the class. I love this class.

My favorite thing about guitar 2 is that im learning songs that inspired me to pick up a gutair and learn them. I also like how fast we are learning songs and that their all rock/punk songs. I also like that we all help each other if we are stuck or if we just need help on finding what string or fret we are on. I will not change anything of this class its perfect the way it is. IF ITS NOT BROKEN DONT FIX IT

My favorite part of guitar class is when we play songs as a class it makes me feel comfortable to play. I feel guitar is so much better now that you're back because I was so confused on what to do. Learning new songs is a lot of fun as well but when we do our thing to get to learn how to play the song is helpful for me. I am determined to get better at playing the guitar I want to try and step out of my comfort zone and I feel that with the help of your class I would be able to succeed at doing so.
